Educational project with Ashoka

Since its beginnings the Hilti Foundation has had the international non-profit-making organization Ashoka with its extensive network at its side. The partnership began in Egypt, where the Foundation operates until the present day.

Amongst others we support the Social Entrepreuneur projects:

Magdy Aziz, a dedicated teacher, is committed to protecting the rights of children in Egyption society and in the battle for the equality of girls and boys he helps girls in particular to cope with the trials of school and life in general.

Ehaab Dyaa Abdou, as a committed student, could no longer bear to look on as talented young Egyptians, urgently needed to overcome poverty and intolerable conditions, turned their backs on the country in frustration. He founded the Nahdet Masr organization. Through this network young people receive not only financial support, but also advice on how to realise their business ideas.
